Abstract

Abstract

This study was included some chemical tests on samples of groundwater (wells) in the certain locations of Al-najaf Al ashraf, like (acidity, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, total hardness, chlorides, magnesium ion, sodium ion and calcium ion ) .
The results of these tests were admitted in mathematical model named (Watsuit Model) to predict the soil bearing to the salinity and toxicity problems resulting from irrigation water in steady – state conditions. In this away salinity or concentration of contaminated was calculated by multiplying the conductivity of irrigation water (Ec) or salt concentration with
A concentration factor (Cf) with corresponds to the washing factor and depth in the root zone.
