Management of religious and social variety in Mecca civilization

    SadiqhShakirMahmood Al-Makhzoomy

Adab Al-Kufa, In Press

Abstract

Allah has chosen Mecca to be the first sacred house of worshipping the only God. Allah also trusted it to have the most important leaders of all His messages, Ibrahim and Mohammed (Peace be upon them). In his turn Ibrahim asked Allah to guide the Meccans to the monotheism, grant them safety and livelihood. Muhammed also communicated the right religion and noble characters of nations. So , Mecca was Allah's city and the place where people used to pray and because of that a lot of people would like to come to it and they brought their creeds , cultures and languages with them. As a result , Mecca became the mother of villages and meeting place of different sects, those who believe in Allah and In his Messenger Muhammad , and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Magians, and those who Worship others besides Allâh; All of those lived peacefully and Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection.
This was the most important factor that people could depend on in managing various beliefs. In addition to all of this In Mecca,a lot of great men who were considered to be typical example arose such as, Ismaeel , Qusai , Hashim , Abdul Muttalib and mohammed. Thus, this research shows the meaning of doctrinal and intellectual difference and objective and final agreement represented by common view and interest. The paper also explain how the meaning of social interaction and coexistence arises to be a typical example and motivating symbol for common culture in life.
